Bee-eaters in Africa

Many species of bee-eaters can bee seen in Africa and all of them are very beautiful.

carmine beeeater

This is probably one of the most beautiful bee-eaters, Carmine Bee-eater. This photo was taken in Selu National Park in Tanzania.

white-throated beeeater

White-throated bee-eater is just catching a bee. Taken in Samburu National Parki in Kenya.

Blue-cheaked beeeater

This bee-eater is not so common, a Blue-cheaked bee-eater. Photo taken around Lake Baringo in Kenya.

European beeeater

This is a migratory bird, a European bee-eater. This bird can be seen in Africa during European winter. Taken in Nairobi National Park.

Little beeeater

This is commonly seen Little Bee-eater, living in savanna.

Madagascar beeeater

This is rarely seen Madagascar bee-eater. Probably taken in Samburu National Park.

Somali beeeater

This is a Somali bee-eater, inhibiting only in northern part of Kenya. I have seen this bird only once in Samburu National Park.

White-fronted beeeater

This is a White-fronted bee-eater. Photo was taken in Lake Naivasha in Kenya.
