Africa is a good place to see birds. Especially in Kenya, there are several bird-watching tours or safaris available throughout a year.

Although some other safari tours are inexpensive and many, I don't recommend to join in a group safari tour. Other visitors may not be interested in birds, and they cannot wait for you taking a good shot of rare bird species. They want to see lions, cheethas, elephants, say large mammals. One alternative is to choose private safari and tell the driver that you are particularly interested in birds.
