Trogon

Trogon is not a familiar name, but the quetzal bird, important in the Mayan civilization of Central America, is a member of this group. I have only seen one species, and only once, and the photo is only about this good.

This is Narina's trogon. The red area of the bird seems to be different from the picture in the picture book. It lives in forested areas, and although not rare, it is very difficult to find and photograph.
