Rollers

African Rollers. I am sure there are others I have photographed, but I can't find them, so I will just post the three species for now.

Lilac-breasted Roller is probably one of the most beautiful birds you can see in Africa, and one of the easiest to spot. Lilac-breasted Roller is even more beautiful when it spreads its wings and flies. I have tried several times to get a good shot of this bird, but without success.

This is called a rufous-crowned roller; rufous means reddish brown.

This is a European Roller. As the name suggests, this bird is found in Europe, but during the winter in Europe, it comes to Africa.
